Impact of proposed closure of Sandiway Surgery
The Save Sandiway Surgery Action Group, with the full support of Cuddington Parish Council, have produced the attached note to help make residents of other parishes aware of the potential impact on GP surgeries of the closure of Sandiway Surgery.

Gorstage Cemetery – Grounds Person Vacancy
Weaverham, Cuddington and Acton Bridge Cemetery Committee are looking to appoint a grounds person for an average of 5 hours per week at Gorstage Cemetery. The grounds person will oversee the maintenance of the land and buildings at Gorstage Cemetery, to ensure they are fit for purpose in the role of a Cemetery and enable visitors to pay their respects in a calm and peaceful environment. Maypole Inn
As part of the process and procedure in considering development of the Maypole Inn, the owners have to establish if there is demand for use of the building as a Community Facility. The Parish Council has decided to assist the Agent representing the owners of the Maypole Inn by displaying the following notice :

Important coronavirus (COVID-19) notice
Cheshire West and Chester Council are reopening some of their Household Waste Recycling Centres on Tuesday 12 May 2020 for STRICTLY ESSENTIAL USE ONLY.
Residents should only visit the recycling centre if their journey is absolutely necessary. This means that if the items stored at home cause a health and safety risk such as injury, illness or harm to the household then the trip is essential. Otherwise, please store your waste at home until normal services resume.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)
In order to comply with Government guidance on distancing, numbers of people together and especially for everybody to stay at home unless it is absolutely necessary, the scheduled Parish Council meetings will not take place until further notice.
To ensure that necessary Parish Council business is dealt with, a Pandemic Crisis Management Team has been established in accordance with a Pandemic Contingency Plan that has been approved by all Parish Councillors. The Team consists of the Chairman (Bob Holt), Vice Chairman (Trevor Brocklebank) and the Clerk (Carole Robinson).
The abridged Parish Council meeting that has been arranged for 6th April 2020 is now cancelled and the published Agenda will be addressed by the Pandemic Crisis Management Team. The Team will review the issues and a record of the proceedings will be published on the web site under the ‘Agendas and Minutes’ tab. A copy of the abridged Agenda to be discussed by the Pandemic Crisis Management Team can also be found there.
